Peter and Chris are brothers and have always played music together since childhood. They began playing in 'The Barry Franks Band' with their dad, Tony, in 1978 on guitar and bass. Music is in their DNA! Peter heard Graeme drumming at a concert and asked him to form a trio. Before long, Peter's son Bob joined in - pushing out his dad by becoming the lead guitarist! Peter now plays a mix of keys and guitar. Last year, Julia joined the line up and the Time Travellers were complete. Being a family band, Graeme's daughter Katie-Jo often sits in on vocals at family friendly gigs - another up and coming talent!
Band leader Peter has performed on GMTV and Look North with his talented daughters. He won the regional finals of open mic 2012 and FutureMusic songwriting competition 2015(link) . Judges remarked at his natural performances which really connect with the audience. Peter is a full time musician and composer. His songs are published by Starshine Music. He regularly performs with Julia at open mic nights with his original songs and amazing acoustic guitar playing.
